Alyssa started taking mat pilates as a way of cross-training for her dance career back in high school. She fell in love with the technique, and began developing a deep body awareness and muscular efficiency that has carried her through a strong, safe, and pain-free dance career. She felt the benefits personally and also saw that her dance students were improving rapidly as she started applying her pilates understanding to their training. From there, she decided to become a certified pilates instructor, allowing her to dive deeper into growing her knowledge and expanding the population of people that she works with! 💃🏻
